Today’s Coastal Marine forecast contains a familiar spring tune – fog. With rising dew point temperatures meaning increasing moisture in the air, and cold ocean water still the rule, fog develops readily Monday night into Tuesday morning. During the day Tuesday, it peels away from shore but banks still lurk offshore with a relatively light wind. Wednesday and Thursday start similarly, though an increasing wind will trade fog for chop ahead of a cold front set to spark storms later Thursday. Matt Noyes covers all the details.
