The clouds have looked ominous at times, and some of them have produced slow moving showers in a few communities. This threat will continue this evening and overnight. The humidity remains high and an elevated risk of showers is in place on Wednesday too. Danielle shares the details and Outdoor Outlook. Watch the video above or read on below.
Tonight’s Weather Outlook
Expect scattered showers in far southern and far eastern New England tonight. The action will be isolated to scattered; this variability means one part of town might get a downpour, while another area sees almost nothing.
Tomorrow’s Forecast
- Morning: Some pockets of rain and scattered showers are anticipated. This should clear up relatively quickly, aside from a possible lingering shower on Cape Cod through early afternoon.
- Afternoon: There will be stubborn clouds, but a period of mostly dry weather. Another round of showers and isolated thunderstorms will move into western New England by the evening. These storms could bring localized flooding due to heavier downpours.
Temperatures and Dew Points
- Overnight Lows: 60s to around 70, staying muggy.
- Tomorrow’s Highs: Generally in the 70s, but humid with dew points around 70. Western New England may see temperatures just over 80.
Outdoor Outlook for Wednesday
- Mountains: Chance of a shower, with summits in the 60s and valleys around 70. Light wind expected.
- Lakes Region: On and off showers, particularly during the morning to early afternoon.
- Beaches: Scattered showers, with a low rip current risk, except for the immediate South Coast where it is moderate. UV index will be low due to cloud cover.
