Today’s a Bit of a Mixed Bag: Don’t let the clouds fool you – temperatures today will climb near 60°F. However, the humidity is on the rise as moisture streams in ahead of scattered rain showers expected in the early afternoon and evening. For the timeline & details, including what Danielle thinks about after school activities and sports for later today, watch the video below.
Keep an Eye Out for Spotty Showers and Thunder: Most of the heavy rain will stay further north, but isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, especially in areas where the sun peeks through the clouds. While these storms shouldn’t be severe, expect some rumbles of thunder around 4 pm in Central Massachusetts and closer to 5 pm in Boston.
Sunshine Returns, But Bundle Up Tomorrow Morning: As the clouds and rain clear out tonight, temperatures will take a dip. Many locations will drop below freezing with wind chills in the upper teens to low 20s – so if you have plants/flowers on the porch or outside that you can protect or bring inside you may want to. Sunshine will return, even though the air will stay on the chilly side. Highs on Thursday will only reach the mid to lower 50s.
Warmer Days Ahead: Look forward to a return to normalcy on Friday with seasonable late-April temperatures. Even warmer weather is on the horizon for early next week, with highs potentially reaching near 70°F.
