Friday’s Noyes’ Notes/1°Outside Today: Beautiful End to the Week

Fantastic summer weather is in the cards for New England today. Expect plenty of sunshine, low humidity and pleasant temperatures. Danielle shares the beach forecast in this video too, or read about the forecast below!

Today’s Forecast: Gorgeous and Pleasant

Weather Highlights:

  • Conditions: Dry, bright, and pleasant.
  • Activities: Perfect for outdoor activities – everything is good to go!
  • Windows: Open them up overnight to let the fresh air in for comfortable sleeping.

Weekend Outlook: Mostly Dry with an Isolated Shower Chance

An isolated shower is possible, but many of us will stay dry on both Saturday and Sunday. Here’s what you can expect:

Today:

  • Morning: Bright sunshine right out of the gate.
  • Afternoon: Some building clouds, but no precipitation to worry about.
  • Beaches: Gorgeous sunshine, lower 80s, and a low rip current risk from the coast of Maine down to eastern Massachusetts. However, the South Coast has a moderate rip current risk.
    • Waves: 2 to 4 feet.
    • Tides: Late morning high tide, going out through mid-afternoon, providing plenty of beach real estate.
    • Wind: Light wind out of the West, with a local sea breeze kicking in at the shoreline.

Temperatures:

  • Highs: 80 to 85 degrees – doesn’t get much better than this for July.
  • Cape Cod and South Coast: 70s to around 80.
  • Central New Hampshire to the Sea Coast: Lower to middle 80s.
  • Southern Vermont: Upper 70s to around 80.
  • Crown of Maine: 75 to 80 degrees.
  • Turnpike area: Mid 80s.

Tonight:

  • Lows: 50s and 60s.
  • Skies: Mostly clear.
  • Wind: Light wind out of the South.
