We have an amazing week of late summer weather in store for the region – and it looks like dry conditions and warm air will stick around into the upcoming weekend too! What better way to the enjoy outdoors AND make a meaningful difference in your community by participating in the Hike for Hope Fall Festival in Andover, MA this Saturday. This annual 5K event, hosted by Lazarus House Ministries, is not just a walk – it’s an opportunity to support essential programs that provide food, shelter, clothing, and life-changing resources to individuals and families facing the challenges of material poverty, homelessness, and food insecurity. By walking and fundraising, YOU play an active role in empowering people to rebuild their lives and break the cycle of hardship.
The day is packed with fun for the whole family! Starting with Hike registration from 8:30 – 9:45 AM, the event kicks off with announcements from Jack Wang, an invocation by Reverend Holly Brauner, and a lively performance by the Andover High School Drumline. The 5K walk starts at 10 AM, followed by a full lineup of activities at the Main Stage from 11AM – 3 PM, including live music by Music Street, a Rockler’s Woodworking Demonstration, a Joey the Kangaroo Meet & Greet, and performances by Chang’s Taekwondo. The kids will love face painting, temporary tattoos,
and even a chance to meet Miss Massachusetts USA!
