Danielle Noyes, Lauren Hajjar Leyne of Errands and Events by Lauren and Matt Noyes share a moment together.

Earlier this month, the Andover Country Club was abuzz with elegance, enthusiasm, and philanthropy as Ironstone Farm hosted its 22nd Annual Spirit of Giving Gala—one of the Merrimack Valley’s most celebrated charity events. This year’s safari-themed gala captivated attendees, drawing them into an evening filled with vibrant entertainment, touching stories, and a united spirit of giving. As the Master of Ceremonies, Matt Noyes, President and Co-Founder of 1DegreeOutside, welcomed the community to an inspiring night that underscored Ironstone Farm’s life-changing mission, with both Matt and Danielle on-hand to support Ironstone Farm on behalf of 1DegreeOutside.

For more than two decades, Ironstone Farm and its parent organization, Challenge Unlimited, have dedicated themselves to supporting individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Through equine-assisted therapy, they empower individuals from all walks of life—from children with physical disabilities to veterans coping with PTSD. The funds raised at the gala go directly to programs that help clients like four-year-old Skarlett who, as shared by her parents Lori and Mike Coleman, has made tremendous strides in mobility thanks to therapeutic riding at Ironstone Farm. The Coleman family’s story brought a moving reminder of how impactful these programs can be, touching hearts and underscoring the incredible resilience of the human spirit.

This year’s honorees, Vicky and Alan Bernard, shared their personal journey with Ironstone Farm, spanning over 20 years of commitment to the organization’s growth and success. As longtime Andover residents, they exemplify community dedication, actively supporting Ironstone’s mission and inspiring others to follow suit.

The gala itself was packed with meaningful moments and incredible opportunities to give back. Silent and live auctions offered unique items, from autographed sports memorabilia and local getaways to a South African safari and a private plane day trip—each bid raising critical funds for Ironstone’s programs. But perhaps one of the most impactful parts of the evening was the “Sponsor a Journey” segment, led by Matt, where attendees had the opportunity to pledge support for Ironstone Farm’s riders for a record-breaking $150,000 from that one segment, alone. This moment demonstrated how even a single donation could directly enhance the life of someone who depends on Ironstone’s therapeutic programs.

1DegreeOutside is proud to be part of events like the Spirit of Giving Gala, where community support and connection shine brightest. Reflecting on the evening, Matt shared, “Every time I emcee this event, I’m reminded of how powerful community can be in transforming lives. It’s inspiring to see so many people come together for a cause that truly changes lives.”

This night of glamour and generosity was a powerful reminder of the good that can be achieved when communities unite for a shared mission. 1DegreeOutside is honored to work alongside Ironstone Farm and other local organizations that enrich New England through compassion and resilience. By joining together, we can uplift those who need it most and inspire continued support for the remarkable programs that Ironstone Farm provides.
