  • Cooler Temperatures: Expect temperatures to cool off into the 50s for many areas, with lower 60s in Boston.
  • Winds: A north-northwest breeze generally less than 10 mph, slightly higher on Cape Cod.

Tuesday’s Forecast

  • Sunny Skies: Mostly sunny skies with temperatures climbing into the 80s.
  • Light Winds: Light and variable winds will make for a pleasant summer afternoon.
  • Cape Cod: Expect temperatures in the 70s, with some spots near 80 degrees.
  • Low Humidity: A comfortable day with low humidity.
  • High UV Index: Don’t forget to apply sunblock if you’re spending time outdoors.

Outdoor Activities

  • Lakes Region: Air temperatures in the 80s, high UV index, and light chop on the water.
  • Beaches: Air temperatures around 80 degrees with a light onshore wind and sea breeze kicking in.
    • Cape Cod: Temperatures in the 70s, waves about 2-3 feet, and a low risk of rip currents.
  • Offshore Coastal Marine Forecast: Higher seas south of Nova Scotia (3-6 feet), otherwise 1-3 feet with high pressure building in and wind speeds generally light, less than 10 mph in most spots.
