“Most people don’t leave [television] on their own!” Dan Rea Interviews Matt & Danielle on WBZ Radio’s “NightSide”

Last week, long-time Boston journalist Dan Rea invited Danielle and Matt Noyes to share an hour with him on his NightSide radio show on WBZ 1030 AM in Boston, from 9-10 PM.  Danielle and Dan worked together at the WBZ TV & radio studio years ago and the three ran into each other when Matt hosted Zoo New England’s “Zootopia” fundraising gala, raising over $800,000 for the Stone and Franklin Park Zoos.  Speaking of the impact 20 of his 24 years in broadcast on the early morning shift had on his body, Matt revealed “By the time I left…I was puffing on an inhaler 4-6 nights a week just to breathe straight.”  Yet he adds, “We were already living our dream…if you want to get the weather out to people, you have to do it digital first.”  “We kind of jumped into this,” adds Danielle, “April was the eclipse, that crazy snowstorm, so we were like, wow we should get up and going!”

Dan also asked questions you might have, and took live callers – one who asked specifically why the wind always comes off the ocean on both sides of Cape Cod!
