New England will be subject to several northern jet stream disturbances in the coming days, which isn’t all bad – it does mean some chances for showers and an overall cooler-than-normal temperature pattern, but it also means we’ll be protected from the Tropical Storm that is likely to develop and headed for the Gulf Coast by late this week.
