After a stunning Sunday, the air stays comfortable but a few showers sneak back into the forecast tonight and Monday. Matt Noyes gives the full rundown of what to expect, including the Outdoor Outlook for Monday, with some of the summits of Northern New England not passing 60 degrees for a high temperature!
The comfortable air is settling in for the night, with low temperatures dropping into the 50s for much of New England. It’s going to feel great, especially after the recent heat and humidity. However, if you’re in Northern New England, keep an eye out for a few scattered showers this evening into the overnight hours. These are associated with a jet stream disturbance passing over us, but they won’t make it down to Southern New England tonight.
Tomorrow, you’ll notice a lot of fair-weather clouds bubbling up, with high temperatures ranging from 75 to 80 degrees. Northern New England will be a bit cooler, with temperatures hinting at the approach of fall.
Isolated showers will pop up in the afternoon with cool air aloft causing clouds to form and showers to develop. These showers will be scattered and mostly driven by the heating of the day, so they should dissipate once the sun sets.
This comfortable air will stick around for much of the week, so be sure to enjoy it! If you want to see the 14-day forecast and get detailed weather updates, be sure to download our app, “Noyes’ 1DegreeOutside Weather,” available on the App Store and Google Play.
