A storm system is moving through New England tonight, bringing heavy rain, gusty winds, and potential minor flooding through Monday. Wind gusts of 40-50 mph are possible tonight, especially in southeastern New England, and rain totals will exceed an inch in some areas by the time showers taper off late Monday.

What to Expect:

  • Strong Winds Tonight: Gusts 40-50 mph, especially south & east.
  • Slow Monday Commute: Heavy rain in the morning, tapering to showers by late afternoon.
  • Minor Flooding Possible: Rivers like the Saco, Swift, and Pemigewasset could reach flood stage.
  • Mild Temperatures: Highs in the 50s Monday before drying out midweek.
