Although conditions don’t favor the storms out of New York State to remain as strong as they’ve been, the presence of heat and humidity means some of them will assuredly remain damaging as they cross state lines into New England. At least some storms will likely hold together into Central and Eastern New England, though should steadily diminish in intensity as they do so.
