Tuesday 1°Outside Today/Noyes’ Notes: A Pleasant Stretch After Early Morning Showers

After a few early showers roll through this morning, much of New England is in for a beautiful Tuesday midday and afternoon. The latest from Meteorologist Matt Noyes on the 1°Outside Weather Network highlights a day that feels like true spring: morning clouds and sprinkles giving way to afternoon sunshine and warm, pleasant air.

Expect highs to climb well into the 70s for most of southern and central New England, including along the Boston, Providence and Hartford corridors. Even as far north as Wolfeboro, NH, highs will be near 70°. Northern Vermont and northern Maine will be cooler, holding in the 40s and 50s with a slight chance of an evening or overnight shower – especially along the Canadian border.

“It’s a great day for outdoor time with the kids on school vacation,” Matt notes. “Make the most of it, because right now the weekend isn’t looking as great—we’ll cover that in today’s Insights.”  Check back to our 1DegreeOutside.com homepage or atop our 1DegreeOutside weather app home screen later today to find our Insights post.

🌙 Tonight’s Lows

Mild overnight temperatures in the 40s and 50s mean no frost risk, a trend that’s prompting the age-old spring question: Is frost season over? Matt promises to take a closer look at that later today in this week’s Pattern Predictions, which will also be available on the app and homepage, when it posts.
