It’s a great evening in New England Tuesday evening, though a few showers and thunderstorms have been floating around the North Country.  These will gradually but steadily dwindle overnight as patchy fog develops around New England.

Wednesday will turn decidedly more unsettled, with scattered morning showers becoming more numerous downpours and thunderstorms from midday to late day into the evening.  Localized flash flooding and isolated strong storms with damaging wind bursts will be possible.  Isolated rotating storm centers will be watched for any possible tornado development, which isn’t likely…but also isn’t entirely impossible with turning winds in the lowest several thousand feet of the atmosphere.

Wednesday’s Outdoor Outlook requires having shelter nearby if storms threaten, though the farther south and east one is, the fewer storms there will be.

Danielle and Matt will be back with their daily 1°Outside Today/Noyes’ Notes in the morning!
