Wednesday 1°Outside Today/Noyes’ Notes: Glorious Spring Day!

This is the kind of April day that’s tough to beat in New England. According to Meteorologist Danielle Noyes, Wednesday brings above normal temperatures, sunshine, and a generally fantastic feel across the region.

From Boston to the Berkshires, the warmth holds strong through the end of the workweek. A few high clouds may mix in, and sea breezes along the coast will trim a few degrees, especially along Cape Cod and coastal Maine—but the trend is clear: a beautiful spring day.

✅ Highlights:

  • 70° for many inland locations, including Boston Metro, MetroWest, CT, and RI

  • 60s for the South Coast and northern MA

  • 50s in the far North Country and 40s across the Crown of Maine

  • Light winds allow for sea breezes to kick in

  • No widespread frost expected overnight, just a few isolated northern spots

Looking ahead to the weekend, rain is still in the forecast—especially for Saturday. Danielle hints that we may start wet Saturday morning, with a lull midday before more showers later in the day. Sunday looks drier but cooler. More details coming in today’s Insights update.
