Wednesday Evening Essentials: 2 ISS Sighting Opportunities

Another fantastic night is in store, with temperatures dropping through the 60s and into the 50s, but it won’t be quite as chilly as last night. Cool air continues to settle in, dipping into the 40s in some spots like Keene and northern Maine, with most of us staying comfortably in the 50s.

Exciting news for stargazers tonight—there are not one, but two chances to spot the International Space Station! The first sighting is around 8:01 PM for about five minutes, followed by a shorter glimpse at 9:38 PM for just one minute. It’s a great opportunity for some clear-sky stargazing as well!

Tomorrow, expect another beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and highs nearing 80 degrees for many of us. Northern New England may see some clouds and even a brief sprinkle, but no need for an umbrella—outdoor plans are still looking great across the region! On Cape Cod and the South Coast, highs will range from 70 to 75 degrees, with a lower UV index in northern areas due to scattered clouds, but moderate to high UV indexes farther south.
