We’re just two days away from the Topsfield Fair kick-off, and the forecast is looking great for fairgoers! It’s going to feel like late summer as temperatures climb into the 70s to end the week. Thursday and Friday will feature sun and clouds, with some spots nearing 80°F on Friday.
The highest chance of showers during the fair is on Saturday and Monday, but as Matt has pointed out over the past few days, these disturbances will be quick-moving and passing, meaning there won’t be any long stretches of rainfall. Showers on Saturday will clear quickly, with sunshine returning by the afternoon, followed by a beautiful sunny Sunday with cooler temperatures in the mid-60s.
As we move into next week, the fair continues with dry and pleasant weather. There’s another slight chance of showers around October 15th, but nothing major to worry about for now.
For Sunday’s Patriots game at Gillette Stadium, expect mid-60s during the day with light winds and clear skies, cooling into the upper 50s by the end of the game. Great weather for tailgating and cheering on the Pats!
