Meteorologist Danielle Noyes shares that a cold front is sweeping through the region, and marks the leading edge of less humid air that will work into the region over the next 24 hours. Pockets of showers and embedded thunder this morning in spots will diminish by late morning for most, giving way to decreasing clouds and a hot day across southern areas. Farther to the north, we’ll see a gusty northwest wind along with falling temperatures and humidity. An isolated thunderstorm can’t be ruled out through the remainder of the day in far eastern and southern New England, though most of us will be dry.
