Thursday: Clearing and Warming Up
- Morning Rain: After the morning rain departs, temperatures will climb into the 70s to low 80s as the sun breaks out.
- Afternoon: Expect a nice afternoon with decreasing humidity. Highs around 82°F in Boston and Hartford, about 72°F in Burlington, and 70-75°F across Maine.
Thursday Night into Friday Morning: Chilly Start
- Cool Temperatures: High pressure will bring in nice dry air, causing temperatures to drop quickly overnight. Expect widespread 40s across the region, with southern New England seeing lows in the 50s. Some suburbs north and west of Boston may dip into the 40s, and the Northeast Kingdom, Northern New Hampshire, and far Northwest Maine may see temperatures in the upper 30s!
- Clear Skies: With clear skies and a light north-northwest breeze, it will be a chilly start to Friday morning.
Friday: Gorgeous End to the Week
- Pleasant Weather: Temperatures will rebound into the 70s for most areas. Expect lots of sunshine, low humidity, and slightly cooler than average temperatures for this time of year.
- Highs: Generally 72°F to 78°F, making for a beautiful day to end the week.
Saturday: Increasing Clouds and Humidity
- Similar Temperatures: Highs will be in the 70s for most areas, with increasing clouds and an uptick in humidity.
- Wind: South wind at 5 to 15 mph, gusting higher along the South Coast.
- Evening Showers: Most of the day will be dry, but scattered showers and thunderstorms develop in Western New England late in the afternoon and evening, moving eastward during the evening and overnight.
Sunday: Warmer and Unsettled
- Warmer Temperatures: Highs will range from 80-85°F in central, southern, and eastern New England, with 70s in the far north.
- Showers and Storms: Expect periods of showers and thunderstorms:
- Early Morning: A batch of rain will sweep through early Sunday morning. Some areas of rain could linger along the south coast through the morning.
- Afternoon and Evening: Another round of showers and thunderstorms will develop in Northwestern New England and move into central and southern New England.
