As we dive into the first weekend of December, New England’s wintry weather is upon us! Whether you’re a skier, snowmobiler, or just love the snow, there’s plenty to look forward to in the coming days.
Saturday Night into Sunday Morning:
A disturbance dropping in from the north will bring light snow across much of the region Saturday night into early Sunday morning. For many in southern New England, it’ll be a coating or a mix, while northern and western parts of the region can expect more substantial snowfall.
Snow showers will linger through Sunday in the mountains, adding more accumulation to already snowy slopes.
Monday Evening into Tuesday:
The next system arrives late Monday into Tuesday, bringing a wintry mix or snow to the interior of southern New England and likely all snow for northern areas. While near-coastal regions may see rain, the cold air in place should help snow accumulate across much of northern New England.
Midweek Storm:
By Wednesday night into Thursday, a stronger system arrives, with the potential for a significant rain/snow line. Northern New England remains in the crosshairs for more snow, while southern areas will likely see a mix or rain.
