Friday 1°Outside Today/Noyes Notes: Refreshing New Air
Has Arrived!

Doesn’t it feel amazing? After days of oppressive humidity, it finally feels good to be outside again. Danielle Noyes here with your Friday Noyes’ Notes for the 1DegreeOutside Weather Network.

Humidity Drops, Breeze Kicks In

A northwest breeze is pulling in cool, dry air across all of New England today. Dew points have tumbled into the 40s and 50s – a dramatic shift from the tropical 70s we’ve endured this week. Winds will gust over 20 mph early in the day, then ease this afternoon. Highs will top out in the 80s for most of us, with 70s for the Cape, Berkshires, northwest Connecticut, and much of Maine.

Clear, Cool, Comfortable Tonight

Tonight will be fantastic: clear skies, calm wind, and comfortably cool temperatures. Expect overnight lows around 50° in northern New England, with 50s to near 60° along the south coast. It’s the kind of night that invites stargazing, a fire pit, or throwing on a sweatshirt – and yes, we have those! Shop our long-sleeve gear and more at swag.1degreeoutside.com.

Weekend Outlook

Saturday keeps the good vibes going – dry air stays in place with highs in the low 80s. But a southerly wind develops Saturday night, and by Sunday the humidity creeps back up, fueling the chance for a few showers or thunderstorms. The good news? The sticky air is short-lived, with drier air returning for much of next week.
