Tuesday 1°Outside Today/Noyes Notes: Glorious Day Regionwide!

It’s a beautiful start to Tuesday across New England, and this morning may have even had you reaching for a sweatshirt. That refreshing air won’t stick around forever, so enjoy it while it lasts! High pressure is delivering sunshine, dry air, and seasonable warmth today – with highs in the 70s to around 80 inland, coolest at the coast with seabreezes.

By Wednesday, temperatures begin to climb again, though humidity will still be manageable. Sea breezes continue to offer a bit of relief along the shoreline. It’s late week – particularly Friday – when things turn steamy. Heat and humidity build, and some inland areas could flirt with 100° for the second time this season. The last time Boston reached 100° twice in one year was all the way back in 1952, so this is a rare setup.

Tonight brings another cool and comfortable evening, perfect for cracking open the windows. Most areas will fall to the low 50s, with even some upper 40s possible near the Canadian border.
